Government extortion racket

It is hard to believe that the government paid extortionists who ran the Robodebt racket are not to be punished. Imagine the penalty if an individual or corporation did the same.

That elected politicians were intimately involved and elected politicians look like letting them off free, points to serious corruption within our federal parliament.

Monitor the Ministries

It seems that we voters need to do much more by way of monitoring what our parliament and public service are doing.

Votergrams have shown how well our parliaments work when voters engage with them.  We now need to vastly improve the way we monitor what the public service is doing.

Trust broken

I doubt that we can ever really trust them again. Robodebt  caused two victims to commit suicide. 

We have already seen that a number of people have died in hospital due to government failures.

The Child care disaster revealed that many babies and children had been abused in child care centres.

Domestic violence seems to grow not fall.

The eyes and ears of Aus

Our MPs cannot know everything that is happening in our country or what needs to be done. We voters out-number our federal MPs 75,000:1. It is much easier for us to tell them what is wrong by Votergram than for them to try to find out from 75,000 of us all the time.
